Steady support for the family-building path that does not fit a simple script
Coaching for fertility, surrogacy, LGBTQ+ family-building, pregnancy after infertility or loss, and life after a long road to parenthood.
You may be carrying hope, grief, decisions, logistics, and exhaustion all at once.
I offer calm, practical support for people navigating complex paths to parenthood, including fertility treatment, surrogacy, donor conception, LGBTQ+ family-building, pregnancy after infertility or loss, and the emotional adjustment that can come after the baby arrives.
This is a space to slow down, feel less alone, and make the next decision with more clarity.

A little about me
I’m Meg Robins, a coach supporting people through the emotional complexity of fertility, surrogacy, donor conception, solo parenthood, LGBTQ+ family-building, and life after infertility.
My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. After my own infertility and surrogacy journey, I became deeply aware of how much people can carry while trying to make decisions, hold hope, manage uncertainty, and keep life moving around them.
There were times when I did not necessarily need counselling, but I did need a thoughtful space to talk openly, make sense of what I was feeling, and reconnect with my own steadiness.
That is the kind of space I offer through coaching.
My approach is informed by:
- EMCC accredited coaching practice
- Emotions Coaching Practitioner trainingĀ
- Lived experience of infertility, surrogacy, and motherhood
You might be here because…
There are many ways to build a family, and some of them ask more of you than you ever expected.
You are in fertility treatment and trying to keep going while carrying fear, decisions and uncertainty.
You are trying to build your family, whether you are just beginning to worry, trying naturally, starting IVF, exploring donor conception, surrogacy or LGBTQ+ family-building, and you want support that understands the emotional complexity, not just the practical steps.
You are pregnant after infertility or loss, and finding that reassurance does not always come easily.
You have become a parent after a long path here, and are adjusting to life after years of waiting, hoping and protecting yourself.
Wherever you are in the process, you do not have to explain or minimise what it has taken to get here. We can start with a connection call and see whether working together feels right.
Who I work with
I support individuals and couples navigating the emotional weight of family-building, including:
- Trying to conceive naturally
- Starting or going through IVF
- Exploring donor conception or surrogacy
- LGBTQ+ family-building
- Pregnancy after infertility or loss
- Adjusting to parenthood after a long or difficult path
How coaching is different from counselling
Coaching is not counselling or therapy, and it does not involve diagnosing, treating, or analysing the past in the same way.
In our work together, we focus on what is happening for you now, what feels difficult to carry, and what might help you move through the next stage with more steadiness and clarity.
There is space for emotion here, but the focus is practical and present: helping you feel less alone, make sense of your options, and find your next step.
If you feel you need therapeutic support, I will always encourage you to seek the right professional help alongside or instead of coaching.
What coaching can give you space for
Our sessions offer a calm, reflective place to pause, talk things through, and make sense of what feels heavy, uncertain, or difficult to carry alone.
We can focus on what is happening right now, what support you need, and what might help you move through this season with more clarity and steadiness.
Together, we can explore:
- the emotions and pressure around fertility or family-building decisions
- conversations with partners, family, professionals, or workplaces that may feel difficult to navigate
- what support you need while treatment, surrogacy, pregnancy, loss, or uncertainty is unfolding
- how to care for yourself while making decisions that can feel complex and deeply personal
Start with a connection call
A calm, low-pressure space to share where you are, ask questions, and see whether coaching feels like the right fit.
